Urban Development Can Mess Up Our Water

Accelerated Drainage + Impervious Surfaces + Wetlands Reduction limits our lands' ability to buffer precipitation in our watersheds.
This exacerbates Floods and Erosion and mucks up our rivers, lakes and oceans.

Urban areas can mitigate this problem by adopting land management practices that mimic the area's native geography and habitat.

In 2010, the Hamilton County Soil and Water Conservation District helped make our property wildlife and watershed friendly.
